A & W Trailers Limited is an established Irish manufacturer supplying trailers to the agricultural and construction sectors. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Welder / Metal Fabricator to join our production team at our Co. Carlow facility. The successful candidate will be involved in the fabrication, welding, assembly, and repair of metal components and structures, working from engineering drawings and company quality standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Cut, fabricate, and assemble metal components using appropriate welding equipment (including electric arc and gas welding).
• Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Assemble mechanical structures and parts with precision.
• Weld metal components to a high standard.
• Repair metal structures of various sizes.
• Inspect completed work to ensure conformity with specifications.
• Maintain and carry out basic repairs on machinery and tools.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and quality control procedures.
