Job summary

Aureol Global Connections is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to cut, shape, assemble and finish metal components from technical drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking and able to work independently or as part of a team.

You will read fabrication drawings, measure and weld using MIG, TIG, MMA and FCAW, fabricate structural steel and pipework, inspect welds, finish components, operate cutting machines and grinders, and follow health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Technical certificate, trade qualification, or apprenticeship in Welding, Fabrication, or a related trade.
• Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator in construction, manufacturing, heavy engineering, or industrial projects.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, MMA/Stick, FCAW welding processes.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal components using hand and power tools.
• Perform welding using MIG, TIG, MMA (Stick), and FCAW processes.
• Fabricate structural steel, pipework, sheet metal, and other metal components.
• Inspect welds to ensure quality and project specifications.
• Grind, finish, and prepare welded components for installation or painting.
• Operate cutting machines, drills, presses, grinders, and bending machines.
• Repair defective welds and fabricate replacement parts when required.
• Follow welding procedures, quality requirements, and health and safety regulations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
