Job summary

Enva Group’s Water and Industrial Services division in Portlaoise seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead varied projects from €25K to €2m in value, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery across sites.

The role requires a technical engineering background, strong leadership and stakeholder management, with opportunities for growth within the environmental/waste water sector.

A primary engineering degree and at least five years of project management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Primary degree in Engineering or qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in Mechanical or water engineering is beneficial.
• Knowledge of micropollutant treatment technologies (e.g., PFAS).
• Ability to balance priorities to meet project targets without sacrificing overall goals.
• Team collaboration and ability to work on own initiative.
• Experience leading a project team through lifecycle.
• Minimum of 5 years in project management.
• Strong technical problem solving related to project objectives.
• Courteous communication with customers, suppliers and Enva personnel.
• Developing good customer and public relations at all times.

Responsibilities

• Manage the scope of works for each project to meet EHS, technical, quality, programme and commercial objectives.
• Assist in developing new service offerings within Enva.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, regulators and stakeholders.
• Monitor project budgets and programmes.
• Negotiate rates and contract terms with clients, contractors and suppliers.
• Uphold Health & Safety and Environmental compliance on site.
• Lead on-site compliance and quality standards.
• Oversee treatment equipment projects at customer sites.
• Develop bespoke solutions for complex treatment and processing issues.
• Procurement of materials and management of project teams on site.
