Job summary

Irish Distillers, a Pernod Ricard company, is seeking an Environmental Process Technician to support wastewater treatment operations and environmental compliance across Midleton and Dungourney sites. The role focuses on WWTP performance, regulatory reporting, and sustainability initiatives.

You will monitor plant processes, assist with sampling and analysis, maintain monitoring equipment, and help drive improvements in environmental performance and resource efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must hold a third-level qualification in Environmental Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in environmental compliance and reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and support wastewater treatment plant performance.
• Ensure EPA licence compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain environmental monitoring equipment and records.
• Support sustainability, water conservation and resource efficiency initiatives.
• Provide SOP updates and assist with audits and inspections.
