Job summary

Enva is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead the efficient management, procurement, and delivery of waste management services on pharmaceutical client sites. You will ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective waste collection, transport, recycling and disposal in line with environmental regulations and company standards.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, operational oversight of the Waste Compound, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across hazardous and non-hazardous

Qualifications

• DGSA certification preferred.
• Experience with hazardous waste reporting.
• Experience in Life Sciences/pharma environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
• Decisive, proactive, solutions-focused.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all statutory requirements, site SOPs and governance are implemented and approved.
• Audit Waste Management for compliance and effectiveness.
• Verify accuracy of monthly waste data and reports before submission.
• Maintain all waste documentation per statutory obligations and SOPs.
• Produce site and statutory waste reports on time for client/regulatory inspections.
• Assess waste management performance, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage Waste Compound operations for hazardous and non-hazardous streams.
• Coordinate collection of waste streams from satellite locations for segregation and packaging.
• Oversee segregation, packaging, labelling, and storage of hazardous waste.
• Oversee segregation, packaging, labelling, and storage of non-hazardous waste.
• Coordinate off-site shipment of waste streams and prepare consignments.
• Adhere to site safety, risk assessments, and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement in waste management operations.
