Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd in Clonee, Co. Meath, Ireland, is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily warehouse operations, lead a small team, and ensure accurate order picking for our stores and internal customers.

You will drive efficiency, uphold Health & Safety standards, coordinate stock movements, and implement process improvements while supporting training and development. This on-site, full-time role offers coaching, opportunities for career progression, and a values-driven Irish

Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong team leadership and coaching abilities.

  • Competence with basic warehouse IT systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation which is able to fulfil operational demand and meet targets
  • Train new Warehouse operatives within area of responsibility
  • Ensure inventory accuracy levels are maintained and issues investigated and resolved
  • Ensure stock movements are recorded accurately
  • Support organising and participate in stock takes at regular intervals
  • Identify any systems improvements and make recommendations for change
  • Where possible resolve any issues or problems which occur in the warehouse
  • Where appropriate elevate the issue to a more senior level
  • Assist in planning future capacity requirements
  • Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of products and materials is carried out in accordance with manual handling training
  • Ensure that all vehicles, machinery and equipment are well maintained and fit for purpose
  • Maintain high standards of security in the warehouse at all times
  • Ensure team comply to Health & Safety and Covid measures and work safely to protect themselves and others in the warehouse environment
  • Ensure a clean and tidy working environment to aid operational efficiency
  • Manage time and attendance for operatives and support Management team with people management issues
  • Communicate with staff on a regular basis to make them aware of priorities, targets and operational requirements
  • Support with recruitment and training of staff as well as monitor performance and progress to ensure targets are met
  • Report progress updates, key achievements and any concerns to the Warehouse Manager and/or Senior Management
  • Liaise with Ashbourne warehouse, Drivers and Transport companies as and when required in a timely way
  • Comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies
  • Assertive, resilient and welcomes change
  • Engages interest and participation of others and has a collaborative approach to working with others

Warehouse Team Leader - Clonee

Your role as a Warehouse Team Leader will be all about making sure every customer receives the very best service, this includes the end customer in our stores and internal customers onsite which include your colleagues on the warehouse floor and colleagues from the other departments onsite. You will lead a team and we expect you to take huge pride in what you do, by picking orders for our stores accurately, in a fast-paced manner while adhering to Company policies and overseeing the site.

Expectations include, good timekeeping and attendance, Health and Safety compliance, flexibility especially during busy periods, teamwork, knowledge sharing, ability to work in teams and to also show initiative.
