Job summary

Chadwicks Group in Ireland seeks a General Operative for the Tullamore warehouse to support daily deliveries, packing, loading and stock control. You will work as part of a team to ensure a timely, friendly and dependable service for customers.

Essential are prior general operative experience, a valid forklift licence and a manual handling certificate. A fast paced builders provider environment is an advantage; flexibility to cover shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous general operative experience required.
• Valid forklift licence essential.
• Valid manual handling certificate.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Previous experience in a busy builders providers an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check deliveries to the warehouse and store.
• Keep warehouse tidy and stock identifiable; flag low levels to management.
• Operate forklift safely and in line with safety guidelines.
• Assist in picking, packing and loading of company vehicles.
• Help safeguard against theft and security of goods.
• Work as part of a team to maintain efficient warehouse operations.
• Perform other duties as required by the company.
