Job summary

Choice Stores is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Ashbourne to join a dynamic, fast-paced team. You will pick, pack and process orders, load/unload vehicles, and maintain stock accuracy while following safety guidelines. Training is provided for forklift operation and health & safety.

This on-site role offers opportunities for growth within a growing retail business. Ideal candidates will have warehouse experience, strong organizational skills, and the physical ability to lift and move heavy

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role.
• Forklift certification is an advantage, but training will be provided.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to lift and move heavy items safely.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders in a timely manner.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, adhering to safe lifting techniques and guidelines.
• Maintain stock inventory, ensuring accuracy and organization.
• Ability to build solid safe pallets.
• Ensure all deliveries are checked in and out accurately from the warehouse.
• Ensure that Goods Receiving and Dispatching procedures are followed at all times.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Participate in routine stock checks and report discrepancies.
• Work closely with team members to achieve warehouse targets and goals.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
