Job summary

A leading Irish home furnishings provider is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Kilmuckridge. Responsibilities include safely moving products within the warehouse, operating forklifts, and conducting inventory controls. The ideal candidate must possess a valid forklift license and be able to work well in a team. This position offers competitive compensation with an expected salary of €32,500 per annum.

Qualifications

Job Overview

You’ll be responsible for working safely in a fast‑moving warehouse environment. These may include receiving and processing products, managing and moving stock. You’ll be trained and provided with the tools and equipment needed.

Hours

Monday to Thursday 4.30pm to 2am, Friday 4.00pm to 11pm.

This role offers a salary of OTE €32,500 per annum.

The Role
  • Safely and efficiently move product within the warehouse area
  • Operate powered equipment as needed such as forklift and MEWP
  • Receive and unload product from containers
  • Handling of goods inwards
  • Sorting and placing items on racks and shelves
  • Performing warehouse inventory controls
  • Organising transfers and loading goods onto delivery vehicles
  • Provide the highest level of picking standards of customer products
  • Protect and handle all stock to ensure ZERO damage
  • Understand your department’s action plans and support the goals and targets
  • Assist in cycle counting and stock checks
  • Load, and sometimes deliver, goods
  • Use of handheld scanners, voice system
The Candidate
  • Valid and up to date Forklift license (Essential)
  • Valid and up to date MEWP license is preferred
  • Able to work as a team member
