Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences in Ireland is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to support shipping, receiving, and raw materials handling. You will locate, label, and move materials within the warehouse and follow established SOPs to ensure accuracy and traceability.

You will perform inventory counts, operate lift equipment, and participate in lean initiatives and continuous improvement. Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to follow documented procedures are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related warehouse experience.
• Forklift operation certification required and GDP/documentation proficiency.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Material requisition fulfilment, locating, labelling, and delivering materials per SOPs.
• Receive materials, verify counts, and transfer to stock with JDE transactions.
• Perform weekly inventory cycle counts and annual physical counts; resolve discrepancies.
• Contribute to lean initiatives and assist with inventory/system problem resolution.
• Inspect lift equipment before operation and maintain clean, safe work area.
• General duties including housekeeping and LMS training.

The Warehouse Clerk supports specified Warehouse and/or Distribution operation by performing related area material handling functions for shipping, receiving, and raw materials (including limited chemical handling) in accordance to Edwards' policies and procedures.

Working hours for this position : Monday - Wednesday 4pm-3am, Thursday 4pm-2am.

Key Responsibilities

• Material requisition fulfilment, including locating, verifying, and labelling requested materials, and performing required system transaction and delivering materials to the area specified on the requisition, in keeping with established work instructions and SOPs
• Receive materials into the warehouse from production returns and/or QA released purchase orders, verify count of goods received and transfer to physical stock location accompanied by the appropriate JDE transaction.
• Perform weekly inventory cycle counts and annual physical inventory count (if required) resolving any discrepancies identified during the process.
• Contribute to improvement activities and participating in lean initiatives. Assist with inventory and/or system problem resolution
• Perform equipment inspection of all lift equipment prior to operation.
• Other incidental duties: General housekeeping of work area and LMS Training

Education and Experience

H.S. Diploma or equivalent 2 years' experience of related experience in a warehouse environment and forklift operation Required

• Ability to read, interpret and comprehend policies and procedures (English Speaking, preferred)
• Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Forklift certification required within applicable area
