Job summary

Sun Life Financial in Ireland is seeking an Information Security Analyst to support the vulnerability management program within Digital Security Threat Management. You’ll monitor and classify vulnerabilities across infrastructure and applications, investigate issues, and contribute to risk reporting and security initiatives.

Ideal candidates have a degree or certificate in information security or IT, solid experience with vulnerability management, and familiarity with ServiceNow and MS Office.

Qualifications

• University degree or Certificate in Information Security or Computer Technology is an advantage.
• Experience in vulnerability management or core security technologies.
• Knowledge of information security principles, protocols, and industry standards.
• Familiarity with IT architecture and security technologies.
• Professional information security designation is an advantage but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vulnerabilities with classification and investigation follow up.
• Investigate and report information security vulnerabilities across infrastructure and applications.
• Contribute to Enterprise Vulnerability Management, Risk Reporting and security initiatives.
• Research vulnerabilities and write technical and non-technical reports for management.
• Identify opportunities to automate or enhance vulnerability management processes.
