Position Summary
The VP FP&A Is:

Responsibilities
- Adapt effectively to change, demonstrating resilience and agility in a dynamic environment, particularly as the entity navigates its European expansion.
- Own the production of the monthly operating results & quarterly board packs for senior management.
- Develop and manage KPI reporting across the European entities (Dublin & UK).
- Analyze productivity drivers, identify risks and opportunities to business performance, and work cross‑functionally to implement recommended actions.
- Drive ad‑hoc analysis and decision support, translating complex financial data into actionable recommendations for business strategy and performance optimisation.
- Champion process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency and data quality.
- Act as a problem solver for cross‑functional finance challenges.
- Liaise with FinOps and Product Control functions to ensure management reporting is accurate and fit for decision‑making.
- Provide subject‑matter expertise on allocation methodologies (inter‑ and intracompany).
- Lead the annual planning and quarterly forecasting process, including liaising with internal TDS Finance stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key business / finance partners and other stakeholders and effectively communicate relevant / meaningful recommendations to senior management.
- Work independently in a fast‑paced and demanding environment that requires meticulous attention to detail.
- Bring a keen interest in capital markets and a strong understanding of TD Securities' financial products and structures.
Risk Management Responsibilities
- Identify and report operational risk events in accordance with policy.
- Contribute positively to TDGF's reputation and manage reputational risk, following ethical practices and compliance with applicable policies, legislation and regulations.
- Identify and manage conduct risk within the team and function.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting required – Master's preferred.
- Accounting or industry‑specific designation preferred (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CFA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 7+ years of experience across Accounting, Finance or Audit, ideally within Financial Services or Global Markets.
- Roll‑up‑the‑sleeves mentality, hands‑on, detail‑oriented with a strategic perspective.
- Proven expertise in financial analysis, reporting, forecasting and budgeting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; experience with Hyperion, PeopleSoft, PowerBI or Python is a plus.
- Self‑motivated individual with the ability to work independently and prioritise multiple deliverables.
- Intellectual agility: ability to seek input, make connections, and recognise patterns that lead to effective decision‑making and action.
- Exhibits meticulous attention to detail and analytical thinking.
