Job summary

Wexford Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our busy mixed practice in Ireland’s sunny South East. You’ll work with farm and companion animals, with a supportive team and a strong focus on client relationships.

We offer a competitive salary package of €45,000–€75,000 DOE, a company vehicle, relocation support and a 40-hour week with an out-of-hours rota. VCI registration and good clinical judgement are essentials.

Qualifications

• VCI registered Veterinary Surgeon with good clinical judgement and strong communication skills.
• Experience in mixed or large animal practice is preferred.
• Ability to work within a supportive, collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a mix of large and small animal work with emphasis on farm and companion animals.
• Contribute to the development of our large animal service and client relationships.
• Work as part of a 10-surgeon team to deliver high-quality veterinary care.
• Handle farm visits and emergency call-outs as required.
