Veterinary Surgeon (2+ Years Experience) Bray Area

The Vet Office is recruiting an experienced Veterinary Surgeon (minimum 2 years in small-animal practice) for a progressive and supportive clinic located in the Bray area. This role is perfect for a vet who is passionate about high-quality patient care, enjoys working in a dynamic environment, and is keen to continue developing both clinically and professionally. An interest in exotics will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage patients to high clinical standards
  • Work up cases thoroughly within the clinic before referral when required
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients to support informed decision-making
  • Prescribe and dispense medications safely, ensuring detailed and accurate medical records
  • Support, mentor, and collaborate with colleagues to maintain a strong team culture
  • Promote healthcare plans and insurance options to enable optimal patient care
  • Ensure smooth daily operations, including accurate billing and documentation
  • Maintain VCI membership, CPD requirements, and compliance with professional guidelines
Requirements
  • MVB, DVM, or equivalent with current VCI registration
  • Minimum 2 years experience in small-animal clinical practice
  • Strong medical and surgical abilities appropriate for the experience level
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an engaged, collaborative team
