Job summary

The Pet Hospital, Waterford is seeking an experienced Veterinary Practitioner (Small Animal) to join a small but friendly team. This full-time role offers flexible part-time arrangements and the freedom to practice with clinical autonomy, supported by peers.

You’ll manage a diverse caseload, perform routine surgeries, and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to a patient-centered practice in Waterford’s welcoming community.

Qualifications

  • Experienced VCI-registered veterinary surgeon with confidence in first-opinion small animal practice.
  • Ability to manage cases independently, with strong communication, sound clinical judgement, and a collaborative approach.
  • Comfort with routine consultations and surgery, and a desire to work in a team that values professionalism and patient-centered care.

Position

Veterinary Practitioner (Small Animal) – The Pet Hospital, Waterford

Role type: Full-Time with flexible Part-Time arrangements considered. Salary commensurate with experience. A role for an experienced vet who values clinical freedom.
