All Care Veterinary Centre | Walkinstown, Dublin
Full-Time | Permanent

Launch or Grow Your Nursing Career in a Busy, Supportive Practice

All Care Veterinary Centre is looking for a Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and experienced team in Walkinstown. We welcome applications from VCI Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student Veterinary Nurses due to qualify and register in 2026, and nurses at all stages of their career.

Whether you’re newly qualified and eager to build confidence, or an experienced nurse looking for a practice where your skills will be fully utilised, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a busy first-opinion environment.

We are passionate about creating a workplace where nurses are encouraged to be hands‑on, actively involved in patient care and supported to pursue their professional interests. Rather than being limited to routine tasks, you’ll gain valuable exposure across a wide range of clinical areas and be given the opportunity to develop practical skills that make a real difference to patient outcomes.

A Role That Offers True Clinical Exposure

This is a varied, engaging nursing role where you’ll be involved in all aspects of patient care and practice life. Working alongside our experienced veterinary team, you’ll play a key role in surgical nursing, anaesthesia monitoring, inpatient care, nurse consultations, laboratory work, client communication and patient recovery.

We believe veterinary nurses should be empowered to use their skills to their fullest potential and actively encourage nurse involvement throughout the patient journey. From supporting surgical procedures and medical workups to running consultations and providing client education, you’ll have the opportunity to build confidence and develop a comprehensive range of nursing skills.

For less experienced nurses, this role offers exceptional mentorship and support. For experienced nurses, it provides the autonomy and clinical exposure needed to continue progressing and expanding your capabilities.

Develop Your Career Your Way

At All Care Veterinary Centre, we understand that every nurse has different career ambitions. Whether you’re interested in medicine, surgery, dentistry, behaviour, nutrition, emergency and critical care, anaesthesia or another area entirely, we’ll support you in developing those interests.

We are committed to investing in our nurses and are proud to offer full funding for Nursing Certificates (NCerts) and further professional development opportunities. If there is a particular area of practice you are passionate about, we’ll work with you to help build the skills, knowledge and qualifications needed to achieve your goals.

This is a practice where career progression isn’t just encouraged, it’s actively supported.

Join a Team That Enjoys Working Together

All Care Veterinary Centre is a modern, well‑established small animal practice with a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality patient care and exceptional customer service to the local community.

You’ll be joining a supportive team consisting of Veterinary Surgeons, Veterinary Nurses, a Student Veterinary Nurse, Reception and Practice Management colleagues who genuinely enjoy working together. Collaboration, kindness and teamwork are central to our culture, and we’re proud of the positive environment we’ve created for both our team and our clients.

Our nurses are highly valued members of the practice and play an important role in shaping the patient experience, supporting colleagues and contributing to the continued success of the clinic.

Work-Life Balance That Works

This is a permanent full‑time position based on 40 hours per week and worked on a rotational rota between Monday and Saturday.

Weekday shifts fall between 8.00am and 7.00pm, with participation in a shared Saturday rota. There are no Sunday shifts, no Bank Holiday commitments and no out‑of‑hours responsibilities, helping you maintain a healthy balance between work and personal life.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a Veterinary Nurse who is enthusiastic, compassionate and committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

You may be a nurse looking for your next challenge, a recently qualified RVN keen to build your confidence and skills, or a student nurse preparing to qualify in 2026. What matters most is a willingness to learn, a positive attitude and a desire to make a meaningful contribution as part of a supportive clinical team.

You’ll enjoy working in a busy environment, have excellent communication skills and take pride in building strong relationships with clients, patients and colleagues alike.
