Job summary

National Vehicle Distribution (NVD) is seeking reliable vehicle handlers to join our Rosslare Port team. You will check cars, move them to storage, and load bays with care.

A full driving licence, positive attitude, and willingness to travel to other NVD sites (Ringaskiddy) are required; 5 days across a 7-day week including weekends.

Pay starts at €15.45 per hour in year one, rising to €16.32 with year two; Sundays/Bank holidays €25 per hour. Employee Assistance Programme available.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required.
• Positive working attitude and reliability.
• Willingness to travel to other NVD sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Scanning of vehicles.
• Driving from the Rosslare Port to storage and loading bays.
• Parking and repositioning of vehicles.
• Washing of vehicles.
• Moving vehicles to load lanes and within the compounds.
• Stock taking.

The work of vehicle handlers will involve checking cars and moving cars from Rosslare Port to storage within the compound and loading bays in a careful manner.

Pay and Benefits

Requirements

• Successful candidates must be available to work 5 days across a 7-day week, including weekends, as required by the business

• Candidates should possess a full driving licence, have a positive working attitude and be comfortable with driving cars and light commercial vehicles.
