Job summary

Bon Secours Hospital Cork is seeking a Senior Grade Vascular Physiologist for a full-time permanent role within the state-of-the-art physiology department. The successful applicant will perform vascular ultrasound investigations, interpret results, and contribute to patient care excellence.

Applicants should hold a recognised qualification in Clinical Measurement Science or equivalent, with 3–5 years post-qualification experience in vascular physiology, and strong communication skills to work

Qualifications

• 3–5 years post-qualification experience in vascular physiology.
• Experience in arterial and venous duplex ultrasound reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform, interpret and report vascular ultrasound investigations.
• Provide clinical support and advice to referring clinicians.
• Supervise and support vascular trainees and junior staff.
• Contribute to audit, research, service development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain high standards of patient care, safety and clinical governance.

Education

Senior Grade Vascular PhysiologistFull Time PermanentBon Secours Hospital Cork is part of the Bon Secours Health System which is the largest independent hospital group in Ireland with over 2,500 staff including 350 leading consultants. We are now inviting applications for a senior role in our state of the art physiology department from suitably qualified and experienced candidates.The successful applicant will be required to always enhance and maintain the highest standards in patient care. You will be required to contribute to the effective use of all hospital resources at your disposal and you will be required to maximise staff development in a learning environment.
