Job summary

TD Securities offers a 6-month Technology Internship in Dublin, Ireland, January 2027 through July 2027. The role focuses on building enhancements to the Valuation Services Software Engineering team, with exposure to modern Python stacks, APIs, and cloud-based tooling.

You'll contribute across design, development, testing and deployment while collaborating with a cross-functional team. Applicants should be penultimate-year CS/SE/AI students, ready for a fast-paced environment and eager to learn

Qualifications

Penultimate year student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Bachelor's or Masters programme.
Strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with source code management such as Git/GitHub.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and deploy system enhancements.
Perform Unit and System Integration testing.
Participate in Proof of Concept (POC) on new technologies and document findings.
Assist in the development/maintenance of processes for prevention of issues and timely resolution of incidents.
Work with business partners to define and develop detailed business requirements.
Document system deployment plans for deployment.
Provide recommendations with usability analysis.
Respond to business and users' inquiries on business applications.
Troubleshoot and determine root cause of defects.
Assist with quality assurance and peer coding reviews.
Apply SDLC and project management methodologies to development tasks.
