Job summary

Jobtailor in Galway, Ireland is seeking a data analyst to independently scope and execute product-data analyses within a SaaS environment. You will build dashboards, define events, and maintain tracking using Snowflake-based warehouses and tooling like Heap and ContentSquare.

You will translate insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensure data quality, and contribute to analytics best practices including AI-assisted approaches. 2+ years of experience required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in data analysis or a related analytical role
• Ability to independently execute end-to-end analysis within a SaaS environment
• Experience building dashboards and reports in a visualization tool
• Strong SQL skills with large datasets in a cloud data warehouse
• Snowflake strongly preferred, or equivalent depth in BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks
• Comfortable with joins, CTEs, and aggregation at scale
• Comfortable working in a documented, version-controlled environment
• Ability to connect insights to stakeholder needs
• Strong communication skills for presenting findings and gathering feedback across teams
• Familiarity with Snowflake stored procedures, semantic views, Cortex Analyst, or Snowsight is desirable
• Experience with Heap, ContentSquare, Amplitude, or Google Analytics is desirable
• Experience with event-level product usage data, including sessionization, clickstream, funnels, feature adoption, or journey analysis is desirable
• Exposure to AI-assisted analytics and evaluating LLM-generated SQL is desirable
• Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation is desirable
• Familiarity with customer experience or contact center analytics domains is desirable
