EY is recruiting for the UKI Technology Consulting SAP Finance Lead, Senior Manager role in Dublin. You will lead delivery of SAP S/4HANA Finance projects for a large global client, shaping finance transformation and governance while developing talent across the team.

Qualifications

• A third level qualification in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in SAP Finance implementations with at least 3 years of dedicated client consulting experience.
• Experience with S/4HANA Finance and related implementation scenarios.
• Experience in a Managed Service environment.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on SAP needs, including S/4HANA business case, roadmap, and implementation.
• Leading design workshops to understand client requirements and implement best practice solutions.
• Supporting business process re-engineering in the S/4HANA Finance space.
• Sharing knowledge within the group and mentoring SAP team members.
• Managing client projects across all phases.
• Collaborating with large SAP teams across streams.
• Developing client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
• Supporting SAP practice development and external client events.

The Team and the opportunity

We are recruiting for a number of large global SAP S/4HANA implementations. Amongst a variety of exciting career opportunities available within our SAP practice, we are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Consultant at Senior Manager or Director level to join our Dublin SAP team.

As a Senior Manager in EY, you will become a key member of our SAP team. Your role will be focused primarily on the delivery of SAP services to a large global client implementing SAP S/4HANA. Secondary focus will be on support and broader practice development. In this role, you will help develop high-performing individuals and teams, leading and supporting them to deliver exceptional client services.

You will play a key role in supporting the development and strengthen existing client relationships and help our clients, who are leaders in the Financial Services industry, navigate the complex finance issues facing their business. As part of this growing team, you will also get to help shape the innovative culture that makes EY such a great place to work.

Your key responsibilities

• Advising clients on current and future SAP needs, including S/4HANA business case, business transformation, roadmap, and implementation.
• Leading design workshops to gain a clear understanding of our client’s industry and business requirements, and to design and implement appropriate best practice solutions.
• Supporting business process re‑engineering, particularly in the S/4HANA Finance space.
• Sharing knowledge of best practice within the group and across other disciplines in the firm, as well as developing other members of the SAP team.
• Playing a key role in planning and managing client projects throughout all phases.
• Be a part of a large team that supports different streams of work for all the SAP Projects.
• Responsible for maintaining current relationships with the client and build new ones by identifying new opportunities.
• Supporting the development of the SAP practice, including leading internal team activities, and facilitating external client events.

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A third level qualification in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in SAP Finance implementations with at least 3 years of dedicated client consulting experience.
• Proven experience in implementing SAP finance processes such as new general ledger, finance general ledger processing, accruals, bank accounting, asset accounting, management accounting (CO), profitability analysis, cash management, credit management and budgeting / planning.
• A solid understanding of core financial processes and the implementation of best practice solutions in the SAP Finance space.
• Experience of working in a Managed Service environment.
• Experience with/or demonstrable understanding of S/4HANA Finance, including the key benefits and implementation scenarios.

Ideally, you will also have

• SAP FICO certification is desirable.
• Implementation experience of SAP Central Finance would be beneficial.
