Job summary

EY Ireland is seeking an Identity and Access Management Senior Manager in Dublin to shape secure access across critical systems, cloud services and AI. You will lead high-impact IAM work for clients while growing EY Ireland’s identity capabilities and trusted market presence.

You will design secure IAM architectures across cloud, hybrid and on-prem environments, applying zero-trust and least-privilege principles.

The opportunity

This is an opportunity to shape how organisations protect access to critical systems, cloud services and artificial intelligence. You will lead high-impact identity security work for clients across sectors while helping EY Ireland grow its identity and access management capability. Your work will strengthen trust, reduce security risk and build practical foundations for secure digital transformation. You will also influence our market approach, develop new client opportunities and help teams deliver consistently strong outcomes.

Your key responsibilities

• Leading the development and delivery of identity and privileged access management strategies, policies and controls.
• Designing secure identity architectures for cloud, hybrid and artificial intelligence-enabled environments, using zero trust and least-privilege principles.
• Advising clients on securing machine identities, service accounts, application interfaces, certificates, secrets and autonomous agents.
• Managing complex client engagements from planning through delivery, maintaining quality, pace, budget awareness and clear communication.
• Building governance for non-human identities, including ownership, accountability, monitoring and lifecycle controls.
• Coaching colleagues, supporting continuous learning and contributing to client relationships and market growth.

Skills and attributes for Success

You will bring strong knowledge of identity security, identity governance and privileged access management. You can assess risk, design proportionate controls and turn technical findings into practical business improvements. You understand cloud-native identity services, authentication methods, system integrations and application interfaces. You are comfortable leading several workstreams, guiding organisational change and explaining complex topics clearly to technical teams, business leaders and senior stakeholders. Experience delivering identity security in large-scale cloud, hybrid, on-premises, software-as-a-service, microservices, containerised or artificial intelligence-enabled environments will help you succeed.

Ideally, You’ll also have

Experience with platforms such as Microsoft Entra, SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, HashiCorp or Keycloak would be useful. Relevant identity vendor credentials, a recognised information security certification, or a degree in computer science, information technology or a related field would also be beneficial, but are not the only ways to demonstrate your capability.
