Position: Trust & Safety Associate - Child Safety (CL12)
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Contract: 12-month contract (with view to extension)
Working Hours: 24/7 (including Bank Holidays)

Accenture’s Trust & Safety team, serves as an important line of defense by helpingimprove the quality and safety of online content while gaining hands-on job experience.They often systematically test, evaluate, and challenge AI systems and platforms to improve the integrity, quality and safety of content, including generative AI. You willdeliver value to our clients, while making a larger impact on society.

You will be responsible for analyzing and reviewing user profiles, audio, videos, andtext-based content and/or investigating, escalating and/or resolving issues that arereported by users or flagged by the system. Due to the nature of the role, you may beexposed to objectionable or disturbing content flashing lights or contrasting light anddark patterns.


This is meaningful work that helps keep the internet safe and responsible. It may alsobe challenging, at times. In this role, you may be directly or inadvertently exposed to,work with, view, or proactively engage with potentially disturbing, objectionable, andsensitive content (e.g., graphic, violent, sexual, or egregious) and expose AI systems toadversarial scenarios. Therefore, Trust & Safety resources need strong resilience andcoping skills. We care for the health and well-being of our people and provide thesupport and resources needed to perform their role responsibilities. This role requiresactive participation in Accenture’s well-being support program, designed specificallyfor the Trust &Safety community, provides valuable skills to promote individual andcollective well-being.

Role Details and Key Responsibilities
  • Review, classify and/or remove, work with, view, or proactively engage with content according to client guidelines, using specific tools and channels
  • Understand and remain updated on changing client policies and guidelines Stay up-to date with industry trends, identified generative AI shortcomings and advancements in content moderation and/or responsible AI regulations, governance, policy, and consulting work.
  • Investigate, resolve, and relay complex content issues to the broader Trust and Safety team
  • Develop and execute prompt strategies to interrogate large language models on various topics related to responsible AI, including medical advice, legal advice, and other sensitive areas.
  • Analyze the model's responses for appropriateness, inappropriateness, refusal to answer, or appending disclaimers to the response according to client definitions and guidance.
  • Collaborate with other team members to create a comprehensive understanding of responsible AI issues based on a model's responses.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and guidelines for content moderation and responsible AI governance and policy.
  • Manage projects related to responsible AI, including setting goals, defining timelines, and ensuring project deliverables are met.
  • Serve as an advocate for the user community Participate in process improvement initiatives that improve quality and efficiency of work
  • Participate in continuous training programs and workgroup discussions for optimal development in the role
  • Engage in conversation around socially sensitive topics with the purpose of keeping our communities safe
  • Participate in team meetings, provide feedback, and contribute to the overall success of the consulting team
Basic Qualifications & Skills Needed

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or English
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in content moderation and/or responsible AI governance, policy, and consulting work.
  • Demonstrated ability to jailbreak large language models and create effective prompts for interrogation (RAI specific roles).
  • Over 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep familiarity and passion for responsible AI, the internet, internet platforms, and internet culture
  • High affinity and cultural awareness of political and social situations regarding the relevant market and region that will be supported
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to work differing rotations/shifts and non-standard work hours
  • Flexibility in meeting changing business needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
  • Previous business process outsourcing, customer service, or content moderation experience is a plus
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Experience working with large language models such as GPT-3, BERT, or T5.
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Java, or C++ for integrating AI applications, and performing API requests.
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their applications in responsible AI Experience in consulting or working with clients from various industries to address responsible AI challenges.
  • Strong network within the content moderations and/or responsible AI community and a track record of collaborating on interdisciplinary projects.

As part of the interview process, you will be required to complete an English language test and a language test in the relevant language for this role. You will be advised of the level you are required to achieve to successfully carry out the role.
