Odyssey Social Care Ltd is a leading provider of children’s residential care in Ireland. We are recruiting a Children’s Residential Care Worker to join our team at Vale Lodge, with a focus on trauma-informed, child-centred residential care.

You will support young people with complex needs, implement behaviour support plans, and help develop life skills and resilience in a structured, nurturing environment.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or an equivalent.
• CORU registration for use of the title Social Care Worker.
• Experience with teenagers with challenging behaviour preferred.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans, Placement Plans, and risk assessments.
• Provide trauma-informed, child-centred residential care.
• Support education, homework, routines and school engagement.
• Promote life skills, independence and emotional regulation.
• Maintain accurate daily records, logs and incident reports.
• Communicate with parents, social workers, schools, and referral agents.

Kenntnisse

Driving licence

Experience with challenging behaviour

CORU Registration

Ausbildung

Level 7 qualification in Social Care

QQI Level 8 in Psychology
