The Transfer Agency Manager will serve as an integral part of the Transfer Agency team, reporting directly to the Head of Transfer Agency of NAV Fund Services (Ireland) Ltd. (NAV) and will play a key role in developing and operating our fund services business in Ireland. Responsibilities for this role will include processing, implementing and ensuring compliance with Irish Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) and other regulatory policies and procedures.
The individual hired will also be responsible for:
- Act as a primary point of contact for allocated client relationships, maintaining regular communication with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely service delivery.
- Develop a strong understanding of client structures, fund documentation, and service agreements in order to support client requirements and manage expectations effectively.
- Coordinate daily workflow across assigned tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and a high level of accuracy is maintained.
- Prepare, review, and distribute investor and client reporting in accordance with agreed timelines.
- Perform AML, FATCA, and CRS due diligence and ongoing investor reviews in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Review investor activity and payments and support oversight of key Transfer Agency processes, escalating issues where appropriate.
- Support client onboarding, initialisation, and transition activities, ensuring deliverables are completed in line with established project plans.
- Identify opportunities for improvements in systems, procedures, controls, and client servicing, and contribute to implementation initiatives.
- Participate in on‑site or virtual meetings with clients, auditors, and other stakeholders as required.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to meet service delivery objectives.
- Adhere to documented procedures and key controls with a strong focus on risk mitigation and compliance.
- Contribute to the oversight of outsourced Transfer Agency activities by reviewing service outputs and KPIs, supporting periodic reviews, and escalating operational, risk, or regulatory concerns as required.
Client Relationship Management
- Support the development and maintenance of strong client relationships through responsive, accurate, and proactive service delivery.
- Ensure client queries and service issues are resolved efficiently, escalating matters as appropriate to senior team members or management.
- Contribute to a proactive client service model by identifying upcoming client needs and potential service enhancements.
- Support all aspects of client onboarding and transitions, treating each engagement as a structured project with defined milestones and deadlines.
Risk and Regulatory Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of AML legislation and perform investor due diligence reviews to ensure appropriate documentation is obtained and maintained.
- Review investor screening results and transaction activity, escalating high‑risk matters or complex issues in accordance with internal escalation procedures.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of FATCA and CRS requirements, including investor classification and documentation review.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and outsourcing requirements.
- Promote risk awareness and control through adherence to procedures and timely escalation of issues.
- Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of Transfer Agency procedures and internal controls.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in Transfer Agency and/or Investor Services within a fund administration or financial services environment.
- Demonstrated hands‑on experience across the full end‑to‑end Transfer Agency lifecycle.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in a regulated financial services environment, ideally within Ireland.
- Familiarity with Irish AML/CFT requirements, FATCA and CRS obligations.
- Exposure to client onboarding, fund launches, or client transitions.
- Relevant professional qualifications or progress toward certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA, CPA) are advantageous but not required.
- Proficiency with Transfer Agency technology platforms, AML/CDD solutions, workflow tools, and reporting systems.
