Johnson & Johnson in Cork, Ireland, seeks an IM Deployment Manager for Transcend. This hybrid role leads deployment across global ERP releases, coordinating program governance and cross-functional teams to deliver standardized digital backbones for the Innovative Medicine Supply Chain.

You will partner with business, technology, testing, change management, and training teams, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement across regional hubs including Cork, Latina, and Leiden.

Qualifications

We are searching for the best talent for a Transcend: Innovative Medicine (IM) Deployment Manager!

This hybrid position will be located in Cork, Ireland. Alternate hybrid locations may be considered in other Innovative Medicine Supply Chain (IMSC) hubs such as Latina, Italy, and/or Leiden, Netherlands.

Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one “clean” ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains.

This program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes to have a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility.

Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.

Deployment Planning & Execution

• Lead deployment execution across global ERP releases and functional workstreams, developing and managing integrated deployment plans, KPIs, deliverables, and readiness activities.
• Monitor deployment progress, identify risks and issues, and drive resolution to ensure successful delivery against program objectives and timelines.

Governance & Readiness

• Support deployment governance, stage-gate reviews, and release readiness assessments while ensuring adherence to Transcend methodologies, standards, and operating procedures.
• Coordinate status reporting, executive communications, and leadership updates, maintaining transparency of risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Partner with business, technology, testing, compliance, change management, training, cutover, and hypercare teams to ensure coordinated deployment execution.
• Influence stakeholders and facilitate decision-making across highly matrixed global teams to drive alignment and achieve deployment objectives.

Risk & Dependency Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate deployment risks and cross-functional dependencies, raising critical issues and driving timely resolution.
• Maintain executive-ready reporting and deployment health metrics to support informed decision-making and effective governance.

Continuous Improvement

• Promote standardization, simplification, and adoption of deployment best practices across releases and workstreams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance deployment efficiency, scalability, operational excellence, and future release success.

Other

• Develop and document Contracting, Pricing, and Billing user requirements with acceptance criteria.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently, prioritize, and effectively meet deadlines with little supervision.
• Map Contracting, Pricing, and Billing business processes with a focus on testing, reporting, and documenting findings.
• Provide Contracting, Pricing, and Billing support on best practices implementation and rollout to all Regions.
• Visually design communication content based on best practices to efficiently showcase Contracting and Pricing Customer Service team successes and ensure consistent messaging in the communication campaigns.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s/University or equivalent degree is required; MBA or advanced degree, or focused degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred
• Certifications preferred: Project Management (PMP, FPX, or equivalent), Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or SAP

• Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience
• Demonstrated experience in Project Management and/or Program Management
• Experience with an ERP deployment and/or business transformation
• Customer Service and/or Commercial Contracting, Billing, and Pricing knowledge
• Experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or related leadership role
• Proven track record to lead complex initiatives in highly matrixed organizations, influencing stakeholders and driving alignment across teams through strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on execution and results delivery
• Experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, or other highly regulated environments (e.g., cGMP, SDLC)

The anticipated pay range for this position, in the primary posting location, is:

€70,100.00 - €121,210.00

The anticipated pay ranges for additional locations are:

Italy – The anticipated base pay range for this position is EUR 56,100 – EUR 96,945

Netherlands – The anticipated base pay range for this position is EUR 68,600 – EUR 119,600
