Rentokil Initial is seeking a Pest Control Technician to join our team covering South Donegal. No prior experience required as we provide comprehensive, industry-leading training; you will manage your own schedule and solve customer pest problems in person.

This full-time, permanent role offers a basic salary of €30,300 per annum, with an expected OTE of €36,000 through bonus and commissions, plus a company vehicle, fuel card, and pension.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good time management with a busy workload.
• Enthusiasm to engage with every customer and identify new business opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Inspect customer premises for signs of pests and identify risks.
• Tackle pest issues and remove evidence of pest behaviour.
• Provide advice on maintenance and hygiene to customers.
• Complete accurate reports after each visit.
• Maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service.

The Role

Your role as a Pest Control Technician will involve covering a dedicated geographical area and providing support to our customers by resolving their pest issues.

Key responsibilities include:

• Inspecting customer premises for signs of pests and identifying potential risks
• Swiftly tackling pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest behaviour
• Offering valuable advice to customers on the maintenance and hygiene of their premises
• Completing accurate reports after every visit
• Providing exceptional customer service and upholding a professional image at all times

Requirements

• Full driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Good Time Management - Your day will be busy with managing and prioritising your workload
• Enthusiasm is required to engage with every one of your customers, smile, say hello, and identify any opportunities to generate new business
