We are seeking a Trainee Air Emissions Technician to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or technically minded individual looking to begin a career within the environmental sector. Through structured training and hands‑on experience, you will develop specialist skills in air emissions monitoring, stack testing and environmental compliance.
The role is primarily field-based, involving travel to industrial sites throughout Ireland. Based from our Limerick office, you'll work closely with experienced technicians, learning how to conduct emissions monitoring projects, collect environmental data and produce technical reports. Some overnight stays will be required as part of the role.
Axis offers a clearly defined progression pathway, enabling successful candidates to develop into fee‑earning technicians and progress into more senior technical roles over time.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who enjoys technical problem-solving and working with data.
The successful candidate will be eager to learn, self‑motivated and comfortable working in a field-based environment. You'll enjoy practical work, be willing to travel and have a genuine interest in developing a long‑term career within environmental compliance and emissions monitoring.
