Job summary

Xeinadin Group in Kildare is offering a 3.5-year fixed-term Trainee Accountant position to develop practical accounting skills across accounts prep, payroll, tax, and advisory work. You will work closely with senior staff while studying towards ACA or ACCA.

Based in our office, you will prepare financial statements, assist audits, and contribute to management reporting while building client relationships.

Qualifications

• Requires at least a 2.1 in accountancy or a business-related degree.
• Has obtained 420+ Leaving Cert points (or equivalent).
• Able to work both as part of a team and independently.
• Strong communication and English language skills.
• Willingness to study towards ACA/ACCA and develop professionally.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills; meets deadlines.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Preparing financial statements.
• Participating in audits.
• Compiling management accounts and other reporting.
• Preparing corporation tax, VAT, RCT and Income Tax returns.
• Preparing and processing payroll.
• Liaising with banks, legal firms, Revenue and advisers.
• Managing client Company Secretarial requirements.
• Working under supervision of senior staff.
