Job summary

Experience Glasnevin is seeking a Tour Guide to join the Experience Glasnevin team. The post holder will support all aspects of Visitor Centre operations and ensure a high-quality visitor experience, with a focus on delivering efficient administrative support.

Ideal candidates will have a qualification in Irish history or related discipline, previous tour experience, and excellent customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Qualification or working towards a qualification in Irish history, politics or relevant discipline (essential).
• Experience delivering tours, preferably of a historical nature.
• Tour guiding qualification ideal but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of Irish history and heritage (1916, Civil War, War of Independence).
• A People Person with patience, reliability and initiative.

• Qualification in Tour Guiding ideal but not essential
• A strong knowledge of/passion for Irish history (1916, Civil War, War ofIndependence) and Irish heritage.
• A ‘People Person’- Patient, outgoing, independent, with initiative, reliable,punctual, personable
• Excellent customer service & communication skills
