Job summary

Fruition Group Ireland seeks an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to develop, deploy and enhance forecasting solutions within a growing technology environment.

Responsibilities include building time-series models, analysing large datasets, deploying models to production, and maintaining monitoring and retraining processes. The role requires strong Python skills, cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and a customer-facing mindset to translate technical results for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in ML/DS or related role
• Hands-on experience with time-series forecasting
• Strong knowledge of ML principles and model evaluation
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries
• Experience processing and analysing structured data
• Experience deploying ML models to production
• Good communication for non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Familiarity with MLOps, monitoring and automated deployment
• Knowledge of containers/orchestration and infra automation
• Experience with computer vision models would help
• Understanding of data engineering and scalable pipelines
• Customer-facing technical experience
• Interest in technical leadership/engineering management

Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise ML models, especially time-series forecasting.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Evaluate model performance and improve accuracy, reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with engineers to deploy models into production.
• Establish monitoring, retraining and maintenance processes.
• Translate outputs into clear recommendations for customers and stakeholders.
• Work with teams to ensure ML solutions meet business needs.
• Contribute to engineering standards, tools and best practices.
