Job summary

Bon Secours Hospital Cork is inviting applications for Adaptation 2027 for a 7 week Staff Nurse Theatre adaptation programme in Cork. Applicants must hold an in-date NMBI decision letter for 2027 and an in-date OET/IELTS valid to December 2027.

Prior acute Theatre experience with a JCI-accredited hospital is required. The role offers a two-year contract with two performance reviews within the first 12 months; upon satisfactory review, a permanent Staff Nurse contract is offered, subject to

Qualifications

• Must hold an in-date decision letter from NMBI for 2027.
• Must hold an in-date OET/IELTS for up to and including December 2027.
• Must have at least 4 years’ experience within the last 6 years in an acute Theatre setting and JCI accredited hospital.
• Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
• Must possess strong communication skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Must be computer literate.
• Flexibility and excellent use of initiative.
