Job summary

Galway Plastic Surgery is expanding into General anaesthetic theatres and is seeking an Experienced Theatre Staff Nurse – Full Time, to join our busy team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced theatre nurse who takes pride in delivering safe, high-quality patient care in a supportive team environment. Full-time and part-time positions available. Applicants should be flexible with shift patterns and be registered with the NMBI, with at least 2 years post-registration experience.

Qualifications

• A recognised post-registration Theatre Nursing qualification, or proven theatre experience across scrub, circulating, anaesthetics and/or recovery
• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
• At least 2 years' post-registration experience
• Strong teamwork, commitment to delivering an excellent standard of care
• High level of personal and professional accountability for patient safety
• Clear, confident communication with patients, surgeons and colleagues
• Flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns
