Job summary

Sports Direct in Ireland is seeking a Temporary Sales Assistant for the Christmas period. You will greet customers, offer tailored recommendations, and help maintain the store’s look and feel in a fast-moving retail environment.

You will engage with shoppers to deliver excellent service, use product knowledge to guide choices, and support stock handling and merchandising to meet store goals. This role runs through January 10th, 2027.

Job Description

As a Temporary Sales Assistant for the Christmas period (ending January 10th 2027), you’ll bring energy, enthusiasm, and customer focus to every shift. From helping customers with product selections to maintaining the look and feel of the store, you’ll contribute to a first-class shopping experience, all while gaining valuable skills and building your confidence in a fun, fast-moving retail environment.

• Engage with every customer to deliver outstanding service

• Help maintain store standards through stock presentation and replenishment

Operations

• Assist with deliveries and stock processing
• Ensure pricing is up-to-date and accurate
• Support stock counts and inventory accuracy
