Sports Direct in Athlone is seeking a temporary Sales Assistant for the Christmas period. You will bring energy, enthusiasm and a customer-focused mindset to every shift, helping customers find the right products and contributing to a welcoming store atmosphere.

You will assist with deliveries, stock processing, merchandising and pricing, while supporting the team to hit store goals in a fast-paced retail environment. The role runs through January 10, 2027.

As a Temporary Sales Assistant for the Christmas period (ending January 10th 2027 ), you'll bring energy, enthusiasm, and customer focus to every shift. From helping customers with product selections to maintaining the look and feel of the store, you'll contribute to a first-class shopping experience, all while gaining valuable skills and building your confidence in a fun, fast-moving retail environment.

Sales & Service

Visual Merchandising

• Help maintain store standards through stock presentation and replenishment

You will be required to work over the Christmas period (bank holidays, weekends and evenings)
