Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Teleporter Driver / Stores Operative to join our team on a major industrial construction project. This varied role combines materials handling, site logistics, stores management and general warehouse duties, with a focus on safe movement, accurate stock records and timely distribution of materials to site teams.

• Strong awareness of health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate a teleporter safely and efficiently on site.
• Operate a forklift for loading, unloading, and moving materials.
• Receive and inspect deliveries arriving on site.
• Check materials against delivery dockets and purchase orders.
• Identify and report shortages, damaged goods, or discrepancies.
• Organise and maintain stores, warehouse, and yard areas.
• Issue materials to site personnel as required.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements and deliveries.
• Ensure materials are stored safely and correctly.
• Carry out general housekeeping duties in the warehouse, stores, and yard.
• Assist with site logistics and material distribution to various work areas.
• Follow all site health, safety, and environmental procedures.
