Job summary

Apollo Solutions is seeking a skilled professional to help strengthen the technology control environment in a Dublin-based role. You will oversee IT Automated Controls testing and contribute to assurance reviews across ITGCs, application controls, and related controls within complex technology landscapes.

The role requires coordinating with technology, risk, and transformation teams while delivering actionable reporting and metrics to support governance and remediation activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assessment and testing of IT Automated Controls (ITACs) across critical applications and business processes.
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of key technology controls and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Deliver assurance reviews covering: IT Automated Controls (ITACs), IT General Controls (ITGCs), Application Controls, IT-Dependent Controls, Change Management Controls, Access Management Controls
• Support internal and external audit engagements, regulatory reviews, and major transformation initiatives.
• Partner with technology and business stakeholders to drive remediation activities and strengthen the overall controls framework.

Working closely with stakeholders across Technology, Cyber Security, Risk, Finance, and Transformation, you will play a critical role in strengthening the organisation's technology control environment and driving confidence in automated controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the assessment and testing of IT Automated Controls (ITACs) across critical applications and business processes.
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of key technology controls and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Deliver assurance reviews covering: IT Automated Controls (ITACs), IT General Controls (ITGCs), Application Controls, IT-Dependent Controls, Change Management Controls, Access Management Controls
• Support internal and external audit engagements, regulatory reviews, and major transformation initiatives.
• Partner with technology and business stakeholders to drive remediation activities and strengthen the overall controls framework.
• Develop insightful reporting, dashboards, and metrics to support technology risk management and governance.
• Contribute to the continuous enhancement of technology risk and controls methodologies.
• Hands-on experience reviewing, testing, and assessing IT Automated Controls (ITACs).
• Strong understanding of ITGCs, application controls, automated controls, and IT-dependent controls.
• Experience evaluating control design and operating effectiveness within complex technology environments.
• Knowledge of risk and control frameworks such as COBIT, COSO, SOX, or similar governance frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently across both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience supporting control remediation, risk assessments, and assurance programmes.
