Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a strategic Operations Lead to support the CTO in translating technical priorities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes. You will work with engineering teams, drive cross-functional coordination, and ensure visibility across projects to maintain momentum and reduce bureaucracy.

You will identify blockers, manage dependencies, and maintain momentum across teams while contributing to cybersecurity and web infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in software engineering, technical program management, engineering operations, or a comparable role within a technology-driven organization.
• A solid understanding of web infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, software development, or related technical domains.
• Ability to understand complex technical discussions, identify important decisions and implications, and communicate them accurately to different audiences.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating technical teams, managing dependencies, and driving execution across multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent written communication, documentation, planning, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Confidence in challenging delays, clarifying ownership, and holding stakeholders accountable while maintaining constructive working relationships.
• Strong discretion, maturity, sound judgment, and a pragmatic approach to resolving problems and prioritizing work.
• Ability to work independently while remaining closely aligned with the CTO’s priorities and technical direction.
• Background in cybersecurity, bot mitigation, fraud prevention, web application security, or internet infrastructure is valuable.
• Familiarity with engineering project delivery, technical program management, or software development lifecycle coordination is an advantage.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitLab, or similar tools is beneficial.
• Experience working with senior technical leaders in a fast-growing technology organization is a plus.
• Ability to support technical leadership without replacing it, bringing structure to discussions and ensuring decisions are executed.

Responsibilities

• Translate the CTO’s priorities into actionable plans, clear responsibilities, and measurable deliverables across teams.
• Facilitate communication between the CTO, engineering teams, and stakeholders to maintain alignment and improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor engineering initiatives using Jira, track milestones, identify blockers, and follow up on commitments.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, decision records, project updates, and other materials for transparency and execution.
• Coordinate and facilitate engineering discussions, capture key decisions, clarify next steps, and ensure actions are completed.
• Identify delays, dependencies, and execution gaps, constructively challenging teams when needed.
• Establish lightweight coordination, reporting, and workflow practices to improve visibility and accountability.
• Provide operational support as a reliable point of contact within the CTO’s organization.

Support the CTO of a fast-growing cybersecurity and web infrastructure business by turning technical priorities into coordinated execution and measurable results. In this high-trust role, you will work closely with senior technical leadership and engineering teams to ensure decisions translate into clear plans, responsibilities, and outcomes. You will bring structure to complex discussions, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and improve visibility across engineering projects without adding unnecessary bureaucracy. Accountabilities

• Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate communication between the CTO, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to maintain alignment, reduce communication gaps, and improve operational efficiency.

• Project Tracking and Accountability: Monitor engineering initiatives using tools such as Jira, track progress against agreed milestones, identify blockers, and follow up on commitments.

• Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, decision records, project updates, and other materials that support transparency and effective execution.

• Meeting Facilitation: Coordinate and facilitate engineering discussions, capture key decisions, clarify next steps, and ensure agreed actions are completed.

• Risk and Dependency Management: Proactively identify delays, dependencies, execution gaps, and communication issues, constructively challenging teams when necessary.

• Process Improvement: Establish lightweight coordination, reporting, and workflow practices that improve visibility and accountability without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.
