Brown Thomas Arnotts is seeking a dynamic leader to drive day-to-day department operations, delivering exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets and maintaining high operational standards. You will coach staff, promote CRM programmes, and play a key role in merchandising and stock control to ensure an engaging shopper experience.

The role focuses on team leadership, training, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced retail environment in Dublin.

KNOW THE ROLE

To lead, support, and mentor team members in the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring the highest levels of customer service, sales excellence, and operational standards while driving team engagement and results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring NPS targets are consistently achieved
  • Coach and support team members in handling customer queries, returns, and service excellence
  • Promote and embed CRM programmes and customer services (e.g., loyalty cards, personal shopping)
  • Communicate and monitor daily and weekly sales targets, driving team focus on results
  • Provide feedback and insights on product lines and customer trends to senior management
  • Support with the implementation of sales and promotional strategies across the department
  • Lead and contribute to team briefings, ensuring clear communication and alignment with goals
  • Induct, train, and mentor new and existing staff, fostering continuous development
  • Recognise, coach, and motivate team members, managing both high and under-performance
  • Maintain merchandising standards and ensure promotional activity is executed on time
  • Oversee stockroom organisation, product flow, and floor presentation in line with company standards
  • Ensure all team members uphold professional appearance, values, and company policies
  • Act as a role model and ambassador, representing the company with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers
