Job summary

Google gTech Ads is seeking a Team Lead for Ads Solutions Engineering to drive global scoping, design, and delivery of scalable ad solutions across multiple markets, including Ireland and Poland. You will lead cross‑functional teams, adapt regional solutions to global scale, and ensure technical excellence and compliance in evolving ad product ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in an investigative role such as business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics.
• Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud technologies such as architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments or cloud data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead scoping, designing, and building series of solutions and best practices at a global level to be reused by customers, sellers, partners.
• Adapt existing bespoke ads solutions created by regional teams into globally scaled solutions that can support thousands of customers.
• Lead workflows and solution life cycle strategy to ensure technical excellence, innovation and compliance of every solution across the team.
• Develop new avenues to engage with stakeholders/customers, often through new techniques or capabilities that scale to resolve industry/regional issues requiring new capabilities or avenues to engage.
• Apply programming languages, syntax, logic, and engineering best practices to design, construct, and maintain functional software components or complete systems, focusing on code readability, structure, and efficiency.
