All Hallows’ School, a Catholic Mercy school for girlsfrom Years 5–12, seeks a dynamic and innovativeTeacher – Years 5 to 10 Health and PhysicalEducation to join our community.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for an educatordedicated to impactful teaching and learning, who thrives in acollaborative leadership and learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensures that All Hallows' School's Mercy values and ethospermeate all aspects of pedagogy, curriculum and academiccare.
  • Demonstrates contemporary understanding of learning and thesocial/emotional needs of students with a particular passionfor girls’ education.
  • Provides academic and pastoral care for all students byImplementing the School’s Student Wellbeing Framework andPositive Behaviours Strategy including the application of aRestorative Practices approach to all interactions.
  • Provides teaching and learning experiences for studentsthat are based on a sound understanding of pedagogy and contentknowledge that meet the aims, objectives and outcomes of theAustralian Curriculum and the Queensland Curriculum andAssessment Authority syllabuses.
  • Works collaboratively to plan and organise content intocoherent, well-sequenced teaching and learning programs and todevelop and use appropriate evaluation and assessmentstrategies and procedures.
Role requirements
  • Current registration with the Queensland College ofTeachers.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Queensland Curriculum andAssessment Authority syllabuses and processes and AustralianCurriculum frameworks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
