As a Tax Associate, you’ll learn to prepare tax computations, interpret legislation, interact with clients and Revenue, and work on cross-border matters with international clients.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in any discipline required.
• Strong communicator with integrity and collaboration skills.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively.
• Willingness to learn and apply technical and business knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of tax computations, personal tax returns and corporation tax returns for clients.
• Research, review and interpretation of tax legislation, Revenue guidance and published papers.
• Assisting in the preparation of tax consultancy reports and responding to client queries.
• Working with international clients on global tax issues e.g. setting up new companies in foreign countries.
• Reviewing tax issues around potential succession planning and tax implications.
• Communicating with clients and Revenue on an ongoing basis.
• Attending client meetings with more senior staff to develop interaction skills.
• Gaining training across all tax heads in a collaborative team.
• Identifying tax planning opportunities for clients.
