Job summary

S&W Partners Employment Services (Ireland) LIMITED in Dublin is seeking a Tax Associate to join its Business Tax Team. You will assist senior tax professionals on a variety of compliance and advisory projects, including corporate and personal tax returns.

You will communicate with clients, conduct tax research, draft technical documentation, and build relationships with clients while supporting the team on complex matters. The role requires a 35-hour week and is based in Sandyford, Dublin.

Qualifications

• Experience in a tax or accountancy environment.
• 3rd level qualification in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law, Business, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2:2 honours degree.
• Pursuing ACCA or CAI qualification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.

Salary : €36,400

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

S&W’s Business Tax Team provides tax advisory and compliance services covering all relevant taxes including corporation tax, international tax, indirect tax and employment tax.

S&W is seeking a Tax Associate to join its Business Tax Team in the Dublin office.

The Tax Associate will be responsible for assisting senior tax professionals on a variety of tax compliance and advisory projects.

Accordingly, the Tax Associate’s day-to-day duties and responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the preparation of corporate and personal tax returns and computations.
• Communicating with clients.
• Conducting tax research assignments.
• Drafting technical documentation.
• Acquiring and building relationships with clients.
• Supporting senior team members with complex client situations.

To be eligible the individual must possess the following:

• Experience in a tax or accountancy environment.
• A third level qualification in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law, Business, or a related discipline.
• Academic record with a minimum 2:2 honours degree.
• Pursuing the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI) qualification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
