Job description

About Ethos

Ethos is a collaborative team of engineers, consultants, and creative thinkers designing and delivering data centre and energy infrastructure across the world's most dynamic markets. As a multidisciplinary consultancy, we combine technical expertise, creativity, and integrated delivery to lead complex, mission-critical projects.

Built on strong relationships, clear leadership, and a can-do mindset, Ethos is entering an exciting phase of growth, expanding our capabilities and taking on increasingly high-impact projects across EMEA and beyond.

Sustainability guides how we design, collaborate, and deliver, creating innovative solutions and lasting value for our clients and communities — making Performance Made Possible.

About the Job

We are recruiting a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People & Talent team at Ethos. Working closely with the Talent Acquisition Lead, you'll be at the heart of our recruitment function, managing the complete recruitment journey across all areas of our business, from mechanical and electrical engineers to project managers, operations, finance, HR, marketing, and leadership positions.

This role is ideal for an experienced recruitment professional who is passionate about attracting exceptional talent and delivering an outstanding candidate experience. You'll own the full recruitment lifecycle.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the organisation's workforce, identifying, engaging, and hiring high‑calibre engineers while also supporting employer branding, workforce planning, and long‑term organisational growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiter who enjoys the variety of hiring across different functions, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and wants to make a real impact in a growing multidisciplinary consultancy.

Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing top talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, industry events, and creative channels to build robust pipelines for current and future roles.

  • Screening candidates through conversations that assess both their capabilities and cultural fit with Ethos.

  • Coordinating interviews with hiring managers and agencies, conducting reference checks, and keeping everyone informed with clear, timely communication

  • Maintaining our Applicant Tracking System and analysing recruitment data to spot trends and opportunities for improvement

  • Crafting compelling job advertisements and outreach messages that make talented people want to work at Ethos

  • Implementing creative sourcing strategies that reach diverse talent pools and reduce our dependency on recruitment agencies

  • Representing Ethos at university career fairs, industry networking events, and professional meetups

  • Managing the offer and onboarding process, including paperwork, new starter logistics, equipment setup, and first‑day coordination

  • Collaborating with the Talent Acquisition Lead on strategic initiatives, including process improvements, employer branding campaigns, and recruitment technology

  • Background in high-growth scaling environments (50-200+ employees)
