JV Tierney & Co. Consulting Engineers is seeking a Sustainable Engineer in Ireland to develop environmentally responsible designs.

You will work with a skilled team to deliver sustainable solutions for projects, conducting energy performance analyses and regulatory checks throughout the design process. The role requires collaboration across disciplines, proficiency with MEP design tools, and experience in environmental assessments and certifications (BREEAM/LEED/HPI).

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Conduct concept and scheme design studies for sustainable modelling.
• Create Sustainable Design Reports and collaborate with design teams.
• Perform thermal comfort studies using TM52, TM59, EN ISO 7730 with MacroFlo.
• Apply Irish Building Regulations and BER requirements.
• Energy performance analysis for Part L compliance and BER using VE Compliance.
• Thermal load calculations to CIBSE standards and daylight analysis with Radiance.
• Deliver high-quality projects within deadlines.
