Job summary

Barrington James is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Serialisation / SAP Manager for an Ireland-based site in County Roscommon. The role combines pharmaceutical serialisation, SAP, GMP compliance and systems improvement, with ownership of the serialisation programme.

You will work with QA, IT, Engineering and external providers to ensure track & trace compliance, SAP system integrity and audit readiness across the site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in pharmaceutical or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on serialisation / track & trace experience.
• In-depth SAP experience across supply chain modules.
• Knowledge of EU FMD / US DSCSA requirements.
• Familiarity with GMP, GAMP 5, Annex 11.
• Experience with change controls, deviations and CAPAs.
• Strong stakeholder management across multiple functions.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the site’s serialisation programme while acting as SAP Business Process Owner across Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
• Manage line-level aggregation and Level 4 / Level 5 serialisation systems.
• Investigate serialisation exceptions, data discrepancies and escape events; drive RCA, deviations, NCRs and CAPAs to closure.
• Act as a key SAP super-user / Business Process Owner across relevant Supply Chain modules.
• Support SAP implementations, upgrades, migrations and system improvements.
• Manage CSV, change controls and validation documentation in line with GMP, GAMP 5 and Annex 11.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality, IT, Engineering and external technology providers.
• Support audits, regulatory inspections and maintain an audit-ready environment.

Supply Chain Serialisation / SAP Manager | Ireland - 12months to Perm

currently supporting a pharmaceutical manufacturing site in County Roscommon, Ireland that is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Serialisation / SAP Manager to join its Operations function.

This is a key site-based role combining pharmaceutical serialisation, SAP, supply chain, GMP compliance and systems improvement.

What will you be doing?

You’ll take ownership of the site’s serialisation programme while acting as a key SAP business process owner across Supply Chain and Manufacturing.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing pharmaceutical serialisation programmes and ensuring compliance with EU FMD, US DSCSA and global track & trace requirements
• Managing line-level aggregation and Level 4 / Level 5 serialisation systems

What are they looking for?

You’ll ideally have:

• 5+ years' experience within pharmaceutical or another highly regulated manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with pharmaceutical serialisation / track & trace
• Strong SAP experience, ideally across Supply Chain-related modules such as MM, PP, WM/EWM, QM or SD
• Experience with serialisation platforms such as TraceLink, SAP ATTP, Antares Vision or similar
• Knowledge of EU FMD / US DSCSA requirements
• Working knowledge of GMP, GAMP 5, Annex 11 and CSV
• Experience with change controls, deviations and CAPAs
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across Operations, Quality, IT and external vendors
