Job summary

Morgan McKinley is partnering with a leading organisation in Cork to recruit a Supply Chain Planner. You will ensure materials are available to support production, maintain optimal inventory levels, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver a reliable supply chain.

The role requires 2+ years of supply planning experience, hands-on ERP experience (SAP, Oracle or similar), strong Excel skills, and a related qualification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supply planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong Excel skills to analyse and interpret supply chain data.
• A related qualification in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the availability of materials to support production schedules and customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain supply plans using ERP planning systems.
• Monitor inventory performance and proactively manage risks relating to shortages, excess stock, and supply continuity.
• Work with suppliers to track deliveries, manage lead times, and improve supply performance.
• Partner with procurement, production, customer service, and logistics teams to support smooth supply chain operations.
• Review demand and supply information to support effective planning decisions.
• Identify and resolve supply challenges, escalating potential risks where required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing planning processes and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate planning data, system settings, and supply parameters.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring materials are available to support production requirements, maintaining optimal inventory levels, managing supplier relationships, and partnering with key internal teams to deliver a reliable and efficient supply chain.
