Greens Restaurant at Derriford Hospital is hiring a Part Time Supervisor to lead a busy hospitality team and deliver exceptional customer service. The role offers weekend duties on a rota with three shifts weekly in a fast-paced environment.

You will support the Shift Manager, drive sales, train staff, and maintain high health and safety standards while ensuring a positive guest experience. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience leading a team.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Due to the tasks involved within this role, you must be 18 or over.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and maintain consistently high service standards.
• Support the Shift Manager with the day-to-day running of the restaurant.
• Ensure targets for sales, waste, wages are met.
• Develop sales by coaching team to display and merchandise stock, deliver excellent customer care, offering up selling where available at all times.
• To continuously train all staff to the Company standards.
• To liaise with the management teams to ensure production meets the needs of business at all times.
• Maintain our high standards in health, safety, and food hygiene.
• To motivate, drive and develop team members across the restaurant and kitchen.
• Setting up production levels in line with menu planning.
• To identify ways to reduce waste with menu planning and ordering.

We are now seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Part Time Supervisor to join us in our busy Goodness at Greens Restaurant in Derriford Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

This role offers approximately three shifts per week. As we operate seven days a week, flexibility to work across Monday to Sunday is essential. Weekend availability is a requirement of the role, and you should be able to work weekends on a rota basis.
