Select Ambition is recruiting a Supervising Pharmacist for a confidential community pharmacy in Limerick. This is a senior, customer-facing appointment for a PSI-registered pharmacist who can provide excellent professional care while taking responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy.

Select Ambition is recruiting a Supervising Pharmacist for a confidential community pharmacy in Limerick. This is a senior, customer-facing appointment for a PSI-registered pharmacist who can provide excellent professional care while taking responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy.

You will lead the pharmacy service, maintain the highest professional standards and build trusted relationships with customers and the local community. The successful pharmacist will combine sound operational oversight with a professional, caring and approachable manner.

The standard working pattern is 40 hours across five days, with an option to work 32 hours across four days. The pharmacy does not operate late nights or Sundays. All applications will be handled in confidence.

Essential requirements

• Current registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
• Ability to act as Supervising Pharmacist and oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations.
• A professional and caring approach to customer and patient service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work on-site in Limerick under the agreed four- or five-day pattern.

Preferred requirements

• Previous experience overseeing pharmacy operations or acting as pharmacist in charge.
• Experience building strong relationships within a local community.
• Salary from €120,000 per year.
• Final salary negotiable based on relevant experience.
• Choice of a 40-hour five-day week or 32-hour four-day week.
• No late-night working.
• No Sunday working.
• On-site parking.
