Job summary

Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel in Ireland is seeking a Fitness Instructor with a minimum of 1 year experience in a class-based gym to join our Health Club team and help raise guest satisfaction.

Under the Health Club Manager you will deliver inductions, fitness assessments, and personalised programmes; supervise current members, teach Exercise To Music classes, perform pool and facility duties, assist at reception, and actively promote memberships while upholding safety, hygiene and service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a class-based gym.
• Excellent guest/customer service skills.
• Ability to lead group exercise classes and work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete inductions, fitness assessments and programme prescriptions professionally.
• Create personalised exercise programs based on age and fitness level.
• Supervise and motivate health club customers.
• Teach Exercise To Music studio-based classes.
• Maintain knowledge of trends, first aid and lifeguard duties.
• Perform pool tests and plant room duties in line with policy.
• Handle reception duties: take bookings and provide facility information.
• Lead tours of the club and promote memberships.
• Maintain membership database and ensure safety and hygiene standards.
